Freeman served as lead white-collar criminal defense counsel for a client indicted for allegedly hacking Microsoft and EA Sports company servers and obtaining more than $20 million of virtual currency, allegedly laundered through Russian and Chinese secondary markets. Freeman's client received no time.

Freeman served as lead counsel and obtained a multi-million-dollar recovery for multiple clients in lawsuits against a multinational Fortune 50 company.

Freeman successfully sued the Department of Justice, obtaining a recovery for wrongful seizure of a business.

Freeman's International Tax Department served as tax counsel and advised a public Mexican company on the sale of its U.S. subsidiaries to a U.S. public company in a $293 million transaction.

Freeman served as legal counsel to a private equity firm in a $345 million transaction and in the acquisition of a target company, involving securing the release of a tax lien exceeding $100 million.

Freeman represented multiple clients in complex white-collar litigation against the Department of Justice and million-dollar-plus monetary penalty assessments. We obtained the removal of a judgment against our individual client and a 97% reduction of the penalty for our remaining entity clients.
