John Svitak is the in-house CPA of the tax & compliance practice of Freeman Law. John has 25 years of public accounting experience, primarily focused on federal, state, and local tax consulting and compliance. He began his career in California in the Napa Valley, servicing large wineries and vintners. John eventually moved to the Bay Area and worked for a public accounting firm that specialized in the construction industry. In 2009, John and his family moved to the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, where he continued his career, specializing in mid- to large-corporate and partnership tax, high-net-worth individual compliance, and financial reporting for income taxes (ASC 740). Through these experiences and specific areas, John gained the foundation and passion to assist various types of clientele, from start-up entrepreneurs to large billion-dollar corporations.
John is a licensed CPA in the State of Texas and a member of the AICPA.
